Pilates on the reformer
The Reformer is a smart exercise machine that doesn’t use traditional weights but instead employs a clever system of springs, cables, and pulleys to create adjustable resistance. This allows you to strengthen and stretch multiple muscle groups simultaneously, which tones the entire body and leads to exceptional core strength, flexibility, and improved balance. The Reformer tones and stabilizes the body in a way that is gentle on the joints yet deeply effective and suitable for nearly every fitness level.
Today, we recognize two forms of Pilates : classical and contemporary ( Reformer). While the classical approach follows strict rules, contemporary Pilates evolves alongside modern insights into movement and is flexible and adaptable to the needs of today’s people.
-
1. Functionality for Every Day: Contemporary Reformer Pilates incorporates the latest findings in anatomy and biomechanics. Because the focus is on functionality, the exercises are designed not only to tone the body but also to improve our everyday movements—walking, sitting, and posture.
2. Flexibility and Safety: The main advantage of Contemporary Reformer Pilates is that it takes individual differences into account. If a particular exercise feels uncomfortable due to your body type, we’ll adapt or replace it. This ensures that your workout is always safe, optimally effective, and tailored to your body.
3. Variety and Dynamism: Modern Reformer workouts are more fun because we use the Reformer as creatively as possible. We also incorporate various accessories (balls, weights, bands) to ensure a comprehensive full-body workout and varied training sessions.

Pilates on the Reformer is suitable for beginners who want to learn the basics and build a solid foundation, for those with some experience who are looking for additional challenges, and for advanced practitioners who want more demanding combinations and a more intense workout. The workout is flexible, so anyone who wants to improve their well-being, strength, and vitality can participate.

Workouts are usually conducted in small groups under professional guidance. They begin with a warm-up, followed by various sets of exercises—using weights, resistance bands, or equipment such as a jumpboard. The pace and intensity are tailored to the group, and the session concludes with a cool-down and stretching.
